Today was the hottest day of the year! And though not all boats had great luck, half the fleet had limits of chinooks and one had limits of springs and halis. Big fish of the day went to Steve Kreps who bested the rest of the crowd by 1 pound. Team Dudds was even releasing nice chinooks after catching their limit. That means great fishing! A simply incredible day on the water!

We were blessed with one of the best days of the summer today with calm seas and mostly sunny skies. The fishing remained great with chinooks, a few coho, and a few fish stories of the hogs that got away. Congratulations to Brian Kelly who joined the Sund’s Tyee Club with this dandy 33 lbr caught with Captain Spenser. The bad part is that dad Mike had an even bigger fish on the line later that got away. A truly fantastic day on the Inside Passage!
