Team Alberta poses with the mixed bag of fish
A great day fishing signified the best coho and pink fishing we’ve seen all year. Team Alberta got the “United Nations” award for catching 3 different types of salmon and 2 halibut and a 23 pound ling cod. Big fish of the day honors went to John Fowler for his 24 pounder caught mid morning at Bere Point. Jeff Ostrove was just a pound behind. It was encouraging to see cohos in the 10-13 lb range and the schols of pinks arriving!
