Its an old adage but so true….sunrises like these mean bad weather is on the horizon. We had 30 knot winds and 6 foot waves at times. We fished until noon and luckily found a batch off fish close to home and limited out on salmon. By lunchtime it was back to the lodge for hot tubbing, backgammon, and cocktails. By nightfall the wind was already laying down- should be calm by dawn!
