Here is how to get to the lodge. Out of Seattle, head north on I-5 and head for the BC Ferry Terminal at Tsawassen. It is approximately 3 hours from Seattle. Cross the border at the truck crossing (Highway 15). After crossing the border, you will come to a store on the right hand side called the Campbell River Store (this isn’t Campbell River yet). Take a left here and go up about a mile. Take the major on-ramp you come to. This is Highway 99 and will take you north. Follow signs to the ferry terminal at Tsawassen.

At Tsawassen, ferry to Nanaimo (Duke Point Terminal). From Nanaimo, head north on the island highway 19 towards Campbell River. The highway skirts the edge of town. It is much faster to stay on the highway instead of going through downtown Nanaimo. It is a 2 hour drive to Campbell River.

Call the hotel for directions. From Campbell River, it is a 2½ hour trip to Port McNeil. Leave your rig at the main breakwater. Just head down to town as if you were going to the ferry. There is one main dock on the water with a parking lot. Park in the lot and pay for the 3 nights (there is a ticket booth for parking in the parking lot). Make sure you pay for parking as they do tow.

Our boats will pick you up at the Port McNeil municipal dock at 11:30 on the first day of your trip. It might be a good idea (because you are driving) to throw in a few coolers for your fish. We will vacuum pack all your fish and freeze them but a cooler of your own might help get them home safer. If you do bring a cooler from home, please make sure it is well labeled with your name.
