What started out on a less than positive note, ended up to be a magical trip.
Friday, the planes from Kenmore were unable to fly due to heavy fog in Seattle. That meant our friends could not get in to the lodge and instead landed early Saturday morning. Except for our other two guests, Lou and Jim who got a head start on the rest of the group, the guys immediately boarded the boats and hit the fishing grounds.
Due to the loss of the first afternoon of fishing, long days were spent on the water searching for those hogs. Luckily, this hard work paid off and everyone got their limits of Cohos, Pinks and Chinooks! Clearly, along with the amazing weather we are having, amazing fishing also continues.
This fishing season of 2014 will long be remembered by this blogger as the best in so many ways – fish, weather, friends, and great customers!
