Friday, was a very windy and rough day and unfortunately our new guests were not able to get out on the water for their first afternoon of fishing. Instead, everyone stayed on shore, meeting new friends and doing various activities with a few riding their bikes to town. Luckily though, for the rest of this trip, missing that first day of fishing turned out to be well worth the wait!
Saturday morning saw the best bite of the season so far as our friends made it back to the dock with 25 Chinooks and 12 Halibut. It was a long day on the water but everyone was rewarded with a fabulous day of fishing!

The Russell boys were lucky today. A boat load of fish came back to the dock with them including Rick’s 22lb Chinook – the biggest of the day!

Finally, for this group the last morning proved to be very productive with 14 Chinook coming back to the dock after only 4 hours of fishing. This morning, The Russell Boys claimed the throne again, this time thanks to Captain Jason and Craig’s 30 lb Tyee!
