Wedding Bells at Sunds Lodge

Over Labour Day we had quite a memorable close to our 2012 fishing season at Sund’s Lodge.  Geoff Duddridge, a long time fan favorite fishing guide over the last 7 or 8 years, and Jaimie Parton.  The weekend was a smashing success.  The wedding party stayed in the Sund’s Lodge cabins and Geoff and Jaimie’s party threw an epic Salmon Bake party on Malcolm Island’s North Shore on Saturday evening.  On Sunday the wedding ceremony was hosted at Sund’s Lodge on the front lawn.  Though rain threatened a bit, the day ended up beautiful and all in attendance said it was one of the best weddings they could ever remember.  After the ceremony there was an open bar and catered appetizers as the guests mingled on the grounds of Sunds Lodge and indulged in different lawn and party games.  On Sunday night the wedding moved into the town Hall in Sointula where dinner was served, drinks were abundant, and a live band rocked the night away.

Though it was the first wedding for Sund’s Lodge, we have a feeling it may not be our last.  It was a magical weekend of wedding bliss.  Our very best wishes go out to Geoff and Jaimie on their new marriage together.  The best fishing is always done with a great spouse!  Best wishes you guys!
